Our project

We created a smart plant growth light using micro:bit. It doesn’t just turn on automatically; it also adjusts the light’s color temperature based on the time of day. In the morning, it uses cool white light to "wake up" the plants; at noon, it shifts to bright daylight, and in the evening, it changes to a soft warm glow. This mimics the natural cycle of the sun, helping plants grow healthier.

Our inspiration

We created this project because we noticed that indoor plants often struggle to grow without consistent, natural sunlight. We wanted to use micro:bit technology to bridge this gap, designing a smart light that follows the sun's natural rhythm to give our indoor greenery a healthier, happier environment.
